I have been a Christ follower since September 1979 when I gave my life to Jesus when I was in my last year of high school. Just over 30 years have passed since that day, and I can honestly say that I have never regretted that decision I made.

Since that day I have gone to University to study accountancy, gone to Bible College to study christian ministry, and been involoved in churches and in business helping others with the gifts that God has given me.

Many christians have a “life verse” – a passage from the Bible that gives their life direction and purpose.  I would have been about 20 or 21 when I received my life verse – still a student at University, but sure of the call that God did have a specific plan and purpose for my life.  The scripture taht has become my life verse can be found in Isiah 50:4-5 and it goes like this:

“The Sovereign LORD has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. The Sovereign LORD has opened my ears; I have not been rebellious, I have not turned away.” (Is 50:4–5 TNIV)

It is my hope that the words and thoughts that come from my head will sustain you as travel through life. They are definitely no substitute for The Word, but may you find comfort and challenge and  may you increase in your knowledge of the Lord and the world that He created.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you return often, to receive words that will sustain you in life.
